Description
After creating the royalty-approved Tanqueray gin in 1830 , Charles Tanqueray took a trip to Spain in the 1860s and discovered the wonder of the Seville orange – large and juicy – with a bitterness within the flavour which made it ideal for gin.
On Charles’s return , he created the recipe for Tanqueray Flor De Sevilla – a summery citrus gin. Despite being over 140 years old , Tanqueray waited until the 21st century to open up the vault and create this sunny beauty.
Sevilla oranges and orange flower blossom is added to the classic botanical mix of juniper , angelica root , liquorice and coriander. The bittersweetness of the oranges and the subtle floral tones of the blossom pairs delightfully with the complex balance of Tanqueray’s original recipe.
Transport yourself to summer nights in Seville , wherever you may be , with this premium flavoured gin.
Perfect Serve – Try this in an iconic Tanqueray G&T – a pour of Flor De Sevilla topped with a premium Mediterranean gin over plenty of ice in a large copa glass. Garnish with a wedge of orange and a sprig of rosemary.
