Suntory Roku gin is a premium Japanese gin featuring six botanicals unique to Japan.
Roku adds Sakura blossom , yuzu peel , sencha tea , and sansho pepper to a traditional blend of gin botanicals including juniper , coriander seed and angelica root.
Roku stays true to the Japanese tradition of meticulous attention to detail by distilling each of their 14 botanicals separately , utlising a distinct distillation process to enhance the unique characteristics of each botanical.
Roku means ‘six’ in Japanese and Suntory put their 100+ years of experience to work when choosing the botanicals for this fragrant gin.
The delicate notes of cherry blossom are extracted through vacuum distillation in stainless pot stills , whilst the yuzu , an East Asian citrus fruit , is distilled in copper pot stills designed to enhance its flavour.
The result is a unique yet recognisable and highly sippable gin.
