The Cristallo is our short sleeve winter baselayer. It is warm, moisture-wicking, skin-friendly and naturally prevents the formation of unpleasant odours. It takes its name from Monte Cristallo, the striking mountain northeast of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Moisture-wicking, thermoregulating, comfortable. The Alpine Merino Responsive fabric is a blend of 78% merino wool and 22% polyamide that wicks moisture away from the body and dries quickly. The synthetic fibres are enhanced with our patented responsive technology. It is based on a special blend of natural, thermoreactive minerals that recycle and gradually release the far-infrared energy (FIR) of the body. They increase your performance, speed up your recovery and keep you warm for longer. These benefits are maintained throughout the life of the fabric, as Responsive is an integral part of the yarn and does not wash out. Innovative knit construction The striking graphic print of the Cristallo T-shirt is made using a special knitting process that involves a nylon core wound with a superfine, 19 micron merino yarn. This process not only makes the resulting fiber firmer and fluffier, but also 30% lighter than comparable baselayer fibers. In addition, the polyamide content improves the durability and stretch properties of the fibre *. This women's base layer has a one-piece body element with crew neck, does not require annoying seams and thus offers the highest level of comfort. It has a body-hugging fit, and the integrated gusset in the underarm area offers optimal freedom of movement.
