PLAYMOBIL * Getafix with the Cauldron of Magic Potion
The year is 50 BC. The Romans, led by Julius Caesar, have occupied the whole of Gaul – well, almost. One small village of PLAYMOBIL * Gauls still holds out against the invaders. Little warrior Asterix and his big, strong friend Obelix, who fell into a magic potion as a child, are determined to make life difficult for the Roman soldiers.
The village druid, Getafix, is brewing herbs, leaves and flowers in his magic cauldron. But unbeknown to the villagers, a Roman spy has infiltrated the Gauls and managed to take a sip of the potion. Will he now * get superhuman strength and be able to lift menhirs effortlessly, just like Obelix?
PLAYMOBIL * brings comic book heroes Asterix and Obelix into children's playrooms in toy form. With these Asterix and Obelix figures, creative kids can recreate their own adventures in the land of the Gauls.

Asterix
Indomitable Gauls and desperate Romans – that is the familiar premise of the Asterix and Obelix comics by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. The escapades of Asterix, Obelix and dog Dogmatix are so popular, they have even been brought to the big screen. They appear in animated films like “Asterix the Gaul”, “Asterix Conquers Rome”, and “Asterix and Cleopatra”; live-action films like “Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar”, and the TV series “Dogmatix and the Indomitables”. Now *, PLAYMOBIL * brings the popular characters, including tiny-but-fearless Asterix, mighty Obelix, plus a whole host of other Gauls and Romans, into children's playrooms everywhere. With these authentic figures and exciting accessories, imaginative girls and boys can get creative coming up with their very * own comic book stories!
Getafix and Geriatrix
To help the Gauls regain their strength and defeat the Romans, the druid Getafix regularly brews his magic potion, which only a select few Gauls get a sip of. Getafix comes with a removable sickle and cape. The cuffs of the village elder Geriatrix, who is also included as a child figure in this play set, can be removed.
Magic Potion
Only Getafix knows the secret ingredients for his magic potion. With the help of the ladder, which is equipped with handles and can be leaned against the tree, Getafix climbs up into the treetop to collect leaves, flowers and mistletoe. In his large cauldron, he brews his ingredients until his magic potion is simmering nicely over the flame.
Changeable Face and Wig
Disguised as a Gaul, the Roman spy Caligula Minus has sneaked into the village. Neither Getafix nor Geriatrix suspect that he's a Roman, so they allow him some of the magic potion. The Roman gets some of the potion's magical strength, and lifts a menhir into the air. The stand gives him a steady footing. But suddenly his face changes and his true self appears: if you turn the figure's changing face by 180° and change the changing wig, Caligula Minus is unmasked as a Roman!
