Before using the cup for the first time, follow these simple steps:
Remove the lid and take out the straw and instruction manual.Look for the valve with an S-shaped seal inside the top of the straw. Squeeze the straw where the valve is to break the seal and allow liquid to pass through.Remove the transparent plastic cap over the bottom of the straw and dispose of it.Place the straw back into the cup, making sure it is pulled firmly up to the inside of the lid.
