One thing for sure is, though, it makes water taste delicious. Science says Uncoated Copper has an alkalising effect on the water it comes into contact with, raising the PH slowly as it absorbs tiny amounts of copper from the uncoated walls of the Copper Vessel.

Which One Suits You?
This process will cause tarnish and black spots to form on the inside of your bottle. Not to worry, this is perfectly normal, and to be expected. This tarnish layer will lower the speed that copper is leeched into the water, the same way as it would in your plumbing! BUT, It can be cleaned away in just a few minutes. It's super easy, straight forward, and is actually really satisfying! You may even look forward to cleaning it.
WARNING – Please Hand Wash Only – NO Hot liquids – For use with plain, still, cold/room temperature water only – Do not use any acidic liquids, substances or additives. For best results, use water with a PH of 7 to 7.5.
