Kliniderm Foam Silicone Border Dressing is an absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a soft silicone wound contact layer that helps to protect the surrounding skin and reduces pain during dressing changes. Wound exudate partly evaporates through the dressing, increasing the total absorption capacity and the dressing supports moist wound treatment. The dressing can be worn for up to 7 days and the gentle silicone adhesive is skin-friendly to minimise the risk of pain and damage to the wound at dressing changes. Kliniderm Foam Silicone Border Dressing can be used for moderate to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds and may be used throughout the healing process on pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, lacerations, abrasions, skin tears, donor sites, postoperative surgical wounds and superficial and partial thickness burns. It is suitable for use under compression.
