An intergenerational family recipe , said to have been created in 1525 by an innkeeper and model as a present for her beloved , a former da Vinci student. Originally an infusion of apricot pits in brandy , Disaronno is made from apricot kernel oil , absolute alcohol , burnt sugar and a secret essence of seventeen herbs and fruits.
