Bumbu is distilled in Barbados using coral-filtered Bajan water at the West Indies Distillery (est. 1893). Crafted in small batches , Bumbu is aged for up to 15 years in charred oak Bourbon casks. The result is caramel-coloured ambrosia – a smooth sip with a rich taste. Bumbu is proudly crafted using no artificial colours or flavours.
Bumbu is named after rum which was enhanced with local fruits and spices by sailors in the 1600s. This bottle follows the same centuries-old recipe , blending rum with authentic ingredients sourced from the Caribbean.
