Description

The 18′ x 10′ Traditional Heavy Duty Apex Wooden Garden Shed (5.5m x 3.05m) is strong, long lasting and incredibly versatile, making it great for garden storage and a fantastic workshop shed or hobby room. Constructed from 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding, on a heavy-duty, smooth-planed 50mm x 50mm frame with diagonal cross bracing, this top-of-the-range wooden shed is most certainly built to last. The floor and apex roof are made from premium 12mm tongue and groove, the latter being fitted with a top-quality mineral felt covering to keep out the rain. A smooth-planed finish and diamond-shaped finials ensure that this heavy-duty shed isn't just robust and weathertight, but exceptionally smart and stylish too. Easy, storage-friendly access is gained via a ledged and braced door, which is fitted with zinc hinges, a door knob and rim lock to keep valuable tools and equipment secure. This door can be fitted in a variety of positions. Once inside, the shed's generous height allows plenty of headroom and increases garden storage options. Georgian-style windows provide the interior with plenty of natural light and ventilation. All of the windows are made from toughened glass. Supplied with a reassuring 1-year parts guarantee (excluding roof felt), this garden shed has been dip treated, should be re-treated within 6 weeks of assembly and annually thereafter, in order to protect the wood from rot and maintain its handsome appearance. Why not upgrade to pressure-treated? This extends the anti-rot guarantee to 15 years. PLUS, we'll upgrade the cladding to extra-thick 15mm – FOR FREE! Please be aware that the pressure treated timber still requires waterproofing upon assembly and then on an annual basis. This premium wood shed is available in a wide range of sizes. Various optional upgrades are available too, including an extra-wide door, a stable-style door, double doors, door fitted in a variety of positions, conversion of a fixed window to an opening window, no windows, a Pro Shed Base Kit, wooden floor bearers and, of course, that upgrade to pressure-treated timber. Speak to our customer service team for further details. Please note that specification measurements for cladding, floorboards and framing are nominal (before machining). As a result, there can be a variance of plus or minus 1mm on cladding and floorboards, and a plus or minus of 5mm on framing.
