A man who was hit * by a police bullet fired by armed officers responding to the Manchester synagogue attack has been released from hospital.
Yoni Finlay, 39, was shot while helping to barricade the doors as Jihad Al-Shamie, 35, battled to enter Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation on 2 October.
Greater Manchester Police said Mr Finlay had been discharged from hospital. Two other men injured in the attack – in which two others were killed – remain in hospital in a stable condition, a force spokesperson added.
Andrew Franks was stabbed by Al-Shamie while helping provide security outside the synagogue. The third injured man, a security guard named only as Bernard, was hit * by Al-Shamie's car.
Melvin Cravitz, 66, and Adrian Daulby, 53, were killed in the attack on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
The synagogue building remains closed as the congregation celebrates the festivals of Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah at an alternative venue.
