Protection (high quality HEX padding)
Made out of a so-called closed cell foam ( 9mm)… Hex is a liquid resistance material and though can stand blood, sweat and tears. Moreover, this material is ideal for areas where greater pressure is anticipated. Out of this material, McDavid is cutting a bunch of little foam hexagons. That’s where the name is coming from: HEXagon. By sticking them again together we form the HEX padding. This padding will finally be permanently bonded to the fabric of shorts, shirts and sleeves.
Stimulated blood flow
Made out of nylon and spandex, these McDavid leg sleeves provide extra compression which stimulated the bloodflow. This is important for faster recovery and very * helpfull when playing dynamic sports like basketball or handball.
