Description
Clase Azul Mezcal Durango is produced in the Northern Mexican state of Durango using only wild * foraged Cenizo agave.
The unique bottle is inspired by Mexican black clay and crafted by artisans from a small community of the Mazahuas indigenous group. The cap is made by artisans of the Huichol (Wix *árika) people , who set each bead in this beautiful cap individually from the tip of a needle.
Clase Azul Mezcal Durango is derived from agaves which take 12-15 years to mature , before being harvested to make this distinct mezcal. The minerality of the soil and the natural spring water with which this agave is cut brings a distinctness like no other to this mezcal.
A medium body is accompanied by citrus and herbal aromas , with faint notes of cloves. Peanut , brown sugar , honey and wood notes come through on the palate along with delicious ripe tropical fruits.
Perfect Serve – This mezcal is best enjoyed neat.
